Green Life Brings In Top Industry Executive As Chief Operating Officer!

Green Life Farms, the environmentally-friendly commercial-scale hydroponic grower in Lake Worth, is pleased to announce the addition of Forrest Sawlaw, a 30-year industry veteran, as the company`s Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. As Green Life Farms develops innovative, sustainable indoor farms in additional locations, Mr. Sawlaw will lead the expansion.

Mr. Sawlaw brings decades of experience in managing greenhouse and food production facilities to Green Life Farms, with special emphasis on greenhouse operations, quality control, and packaging. He will assume overall P&L responsibility at Green Life Farms` facilities. As COO, Mr. Sawlaw will oversee all farm operations, including food safety; quality specifications and procedures; food production certificates and permits; budgeting; sales; and staff development and training.

With more than 30 years of leadership in the industry, Mr. Sawlaw possesses a unique breadth of experience that includes greenhouse management opportunities ranging from start-ups through Fortune 500 companies, including several of the largest fresh food production facilities in the U.S. such as Archer Daniels Midland, B&W Quality Growers, Fortistar, and T&A Hydroponics. Most recently, he served as Director of Growing Operations for Hollandia Produce, where he oversaw all growing operations from seed to harvest and prepared the company for cross-country expansion. In addition, Mr. Sawlaw previously owned and operated a greenhouse consulting company, where he worked with businesses across the U.S. and Canada to improve production and increase facility efficiency.
